Informational News that XGEM Inc with its Hybrid Electric Vehicle project is currently developing a new type of reflector for auto headlamps and tail lights seems to be true. This new type of reflector is based upon a patented, highly customizable diffractive optical system available to XGEM.
Success in this development effort of XGEM Holographic technologists would mean auto headlamps will be as much as 10 times more efficient and would make light emitting diode sources inside of the headlamps a reality. A spokesman for XGEM said “This will be one of several significant improvements in power consumption for electric and hybrid vehicles”. XGEM expects to be in the final stages of development by the first or second quarter of 2015 with a working prototype soon thereafter.
The project has accepted funding from the Woodhaven Group, Inc to complete this project using a financial model that results in a debt free entity with all the right resources in the form of sales, technology, people and capital. This is a result of the collaboration agreement with the Associated Countries in Technology International Incubator under the 3Cs program (Companies Collaborating for Commerce) for America.
